Taipei 101, this iconic skyscraper, hosts one of the most jaw-dropping New Year’s Eve fireworks displays you’ll ever witness. The fireworks will last 360 seconds and trust me, it’s not your average fireworks show.

Every year they have different fireworks and any empty place near Taipei 101 would already be filled with people anticipating this once-in-a-year experience.

As the clock inches toward midnight, the entire city is aglow with excitement. People from all corners of Taipei gather here to experience this breathtaking spectacle. You can also see the countdown from Taipei 101, everyone starts chanting it until it reaches 1.

This is when the sky above Taipei 101 is filled with an explosion of colors and patterns. It is the most beautiful fireworks I have ever seen, I highly recommend it if you are in Taipei during New Year’s Eve, this is something you won’t want to miss.

I still remember the first time I arrived here and the first thing that came to mind was how big the Christmas tree is! Not only that, the decorations they put were in symphony with the theme(at that time it was (Disney-themed).

At night when this place truly shines, the entire area is transformed into a mesmerizing light show, with tunnels of twinkling lights creating a magical pathway.

If you are hungry then the Christmas market offers some unique Christmas treats and amazing gifts to make your visit even more memorable. What I love most about Banqiao Christmasland is how big this event is and makes you feel festive.

During the winter in Taipei, immersing yourself in hot springs is an experience like no other. Bath in mineral-rich waters while a cool breeze fills the air, a perfect antidote to the winter chill.

The warm water makes it a soothing experience for anyone looking to relax. Whenever I felt tired, I would directly think of hot springs, it is the perfect escape from the busy world.

Taipei boasts many rich geothermal landscapes, the notable ones are Beitou Hot Springs. It had been a prominent spot for locals and travelers alike to come and soak in its relaxing waters.

Many hot spring resorts around Taipei are nestled in stunning natural settings. Think dense forests, misty mountains, and serene landscapes. Whether you seek the privacy of a secluded pool or the camaraderie of a public bath, you’ll find a hot spring that suits your style.

While strolling through Ximen, don’t miss the opportunity to try their night market. Winter is the ideal time to savor some piping hot delicacies like hot pots, oyster omelets, and steaming bowls of beef noodle soup from street vendors.

Last year they had a snoopy-themed Christmas tree, every year it will be different so look forward to it this year! Taipei City Hall Station: Situated on the Bannan Line, Taipei City Hall Station goes all out with its Christmas decor. You’ll find massive Christmas trees, elaborate ornaments, and enchanting lighting that transforms the station into a winter wonderland.

Zhongxiao Fuxing Station: One of Taipei’s busiest MRT stations, Zhongxiao Fuxing Station, also joins in the festive celebrations. Its holiday displays often feature creative and artistic elements that add to the station’s allure.
