Taipei 101, this iconic skyscraper, hosts one of the most jaw-dropping New Year’s Eve fireworks displays you’ll ever witness. The fireworks will last 360 seconds and trust me, it’s not your average fireworks show.

Every year they have different fireworks and any empty place near Taipei 101 would already be filled with people anticipating this once-in-a-year experience.

As the clock inches toward midnight, the entire city is aglow with excitement. People from all corners of Taipei gather here to experience this breathtaking spectacle. You can also see the countdown from Taipei 101, everyone starts chanting it until it reaches 1.

Ximen is often referred to as “Taipei’s Harajuku” due to its trendy fashion boutiques and youth-oriented style. During the winter months, you’ll find a wide array of winter wear, from stylish coats to cozy sweaters, making it the perfect place to update your cold-weather wardrobe.
